Brian Heskin,  M.A., CCC-SLP  entered the field of Speech-Language Pathology in 1993 when he earned his Master’s Degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Northern Colorado .  Since that time he has specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of fluency disorders in a private practice setting.  Brian’s perspective and understanding comes from his own personal experience of stuttering. 

Brian is a Board Recognized Specialist in Fluency Disorders by Division 4 (Fluency and Fluency Disorders) of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA).  He is a graduate of Stuttering Therapy Training for Specialists from Northwestern University in 1995.   Additionally, he is a trained clinician in the Lidcombe Program, an evidenced based best practices therapy program for early intervention.  Brian is a practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).
